Dental-specific qualifying
- "Are you a new patient or existing?"
- "What brings you in today?" (emergency vs routine)
- "Do you have dental insurance?"
- "When did you last see a dentist?"
Emergency vs routine triage
Emergency = active pain, broken tooth, swelling, infection signs. Same-day appointment if possible. Routine = cleaning, checkup, cosmetic.
HIPAA compliance
Patient data flows through HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. Voice agent does not capture PHI beyond what is necessary for booking. Recording disclosure included in voice agent intro. BAA available with Stripe and underlying platform.
Recall scheduling
6-month recall workflows fire automatically. SMS reminder 30 days, 7 days, day-before. No-show rates drop from typical 20-25% to under 6% with full reminder sequence.
Insurance integration
HonorElevate captures insurance carrier at intake. Does not handle claim filing (Dentrix etc do this). Information flows to practice management software for the staff to handle.
